Join Michigan’s Fact Tank for Our Annual Public Policy Dinner Wednesday, October 2, 2019

Come gather with others who value smart public policy research at the Crowne Plaza Lansing West. We're having a reception, research expo, dinner and a keynote discussion.

This year, we're pleased to honor former state treasurer Doug Roberts, Sr. with our Eugene A. Gargaro, Jr. Public Service Award. Mr. Roberts is being recognized for his decades of public service, including 28 years in state government serving five different Michigan governors.

Our keynote presenter is Jocelyn Benson, Michigan's 43rd Secretary of State. A graduate of Harvard Law School and expert on civil rights law, education law and election law, Benson served as dean of Wayne State University Law School, the youngest woman in U.S. history to lead a top-100, accredited law school. She is the author of State Secretaries of State: Guardians of the Democratic Process, the first major book on the role of the secretary of state in enforcing election and campaign finance laws.

Tickets are $150. They may be purchased individually or as a table of eight seats ($1,200) or a half table of four seats ($600). Excluding the cost of dinner and drinks, each ticket includes a tax deductible donation to the Citizens Research Council of Michigan, a nonprofit 501(c)(3).
