Dinner on the Bridge 

Come all to enjoy juicy smokey hot chicken legs, fall off the bone baby back ribs, and tender beef brisket.  Along with our famous smoked beans and watermelon salad this year we are having Bourbon Bunt Cake. Come early to enjoy music and a glass of wine in our historical covered bridge.

The Bennett’s Mill Covered Bridge Historical Society would like to invite everyone to attend the twelfth annual “Dinner on the Bridge”.  The Bennett’s Mill Covered Bridge is the oldest, longest, single span, covered bridge open to traffic, in the world.  It will be held on June 2nd starting at 6:00 PM. There will be music and free wine tasting from 6:00 to 7:00 with dinner being served at 7:00pm.

Participants are encouraged to arrive via the East Tygart Road off the AA highway – Ky. Rt. 10 (3 miles from US 23) as this gives access to ample parking in the nearby fields. There is limited parking on the Ky. Rt. 7 entrance side of the bridge. Dinner will be served come rain or shine.

Proceeds will be used by the Bennett’s Mill Covered Bridge Historical Society for the continued preservation of the Greenup County Covered bridges.
