Bus Trip to Mucha Exhibit at Czech & Slovak Museum in Cedar Rapids

Come see the stunning work of Alphonse Mucha, in the exhibit Alphonse Mucha: Inspirations of Art Nouveau which features paintings, jewelry, sculptures, and lithographs. This is a once in a lifetime chance to view this art right here in Iowa! This is also an opportunity to see the newly renovated and restored museum with its collection of embellished textiles in the exhibit It All Comes Out in the Wash. Afterwards, we will visit 5 Turner Alley, home and studio of regionalist Grant Wood from 1924-35 and have lunch in the historic Czech Village/New Bohemia!

This trip will be lead by Pat Steen, who helped make our last trip a great success! The bus will meet at the Kimberly Center, 1002 W Kimberly Road  to leave by 9a.m. and will return approximately by 5p.m.
