Depending on who you read, the normal church in the United States has less than 200 in weekly attendance, with almost 90% of those with less than 100, and only one full-time staff member.

The Normal Church Network Gathering is a peer learning opportunity. Topics and questions submitted by attendees shape the agenda. This event is open to lead pastors of EFCA churches with a regular weekend attendance of less than 200 (including children).

The gathering will start Monday, March 7, 2022, at 3pm and meet through Wednesday, March 9 at 10am giving participants time to arrive without leaving at the crack of dawn, and making it home Wednesday before dinner.

It will be a focused time to reflect and resource one another on issues related to leading the “normal church”. We will collaborate in picking the topics to be addressed and in addressing them. There is no keynote speaker or canned presentations – you and the issues you are facing will be our only focus.

Cost is $75 per person to cover meals and 2 nights lodging in the Hunt Lodge at Quaker Haven Camp in Syracuse, IN. Space is limited to the first 20 registrants.
