We look forward to being with you on October 25. Please plan to log on in time for us to start promptly at 6:30pm ET.
In keeping with the CTTT-RVA theme of “Monuments and Movements”, we have chosen a movement. We will be watching “The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution.” Released in 2015, this 2 hour documentary takes us through the history of the Black Panthers close to the 50th anniversary of their origin. Do you really know what the Black Panthers stood for? Or were you influenced by the media, then and now? It is free to watch online at https://watchdocumentaries.com/the-black-panthers-vanguard-of-the-revolution/.
Watch on your own, then join us for a conversation on Monday, October 25, from 6:30-8 PM ET.
*Trigger warning: there are some brief, but graphic, scenes of violence, and anti-police language.
