How to Include Effective Goals in the IEP

The Individualized Educational Plan (IEP)  is the contract between the school district and the special education student and the road map to what your child will learn, when, and how. This session will cover how to craft effective, measurable goals for your child's IEP to get the most out of the education process. 

About the Presenter

Ricky Teichman, Ms Ed, BCBA, is the director of the Puzzle Place Center for Autism. Ms. Teichman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in the Behavioral Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercy College as well as certification for Early Childhood Education in both NY and NJ. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, BCBA Supervisor and Licensed Behavior Analyst in the State of NY. She has been trained in the Early Start Denver Model of treatment for children with autism and also in DIR/Floortime.
