Registration is open for any child, ages 3-18 (Must be 3 by August 29th, 2015), that enjoys encouragement, positive role models, making friends, learning about the game of soccer, and most of all... learning about who loves us most, Jesus Christ!
(An 18-year-old must still be in High School)
Registration Guidelines
Registration opens July 7th - August 10th
(Registration past this date needs to be done in person and a $5 Late Fee per child will be added) This is to avoid as much confusion with team rosters as possible
Registration Cost
If paying by check:
$75.00 per player
If paying online a $4.00 surcharge will be added
*Note: Only partial refunds will be offered after August 1st, NO refunds will be offered after August 10th (Exceptions: medical reasons with a Doctor's note or relocation)
Late registrations accepted if spots available -- otherwise a waiting list will be created.
What is Included
* Registrants U14 and under will receive 2 jerseys and 1 pair of soccer socks, exceptional sport instruction time, weekly devotional time, 8 games with referees (U10 and above), and an award at the end of the season. The Jerseys will be utilized 2 more seasons. Players can reuse the jerseys from last season (Red and Royal Blue) for $10 off ($65) or get two new jerseys for the Fall season if they pay the full price of $75..
* High School registrants 14 and up will receive a jersey, exceptional sport instruction time, weekly devotional time, and a total of 9 games with referees, which includes an in-house tournament.
* NOTE: A parent can choose to play their child up an age level, but not down an age level (unless medically necessary)
Discounts Available
* For every child that brings a new-to-soar player he/she will receive $10 off their registration. Reimbursements will be given when your requests are issued. (Please wait until after 1st practice.)
* A $10 discount may be applied to each additional sibling's registration fee, min $55
* Discount fee for Head Coaches: $50 for child on team (2 children max if head coaching both), $60 for each additional child. To receive a discount, coaches must be present for our coaches summit on August 8th.
* Discount fee for 1 Assistant Coach: $65 for child on team (2 children max if assisting for both), $60 for each additional child. To receive discount, coaches must be present for our coaches summit on August 8th. Each team will only be allowed 1 assistant coach discount.
* $35 (silver); $65 (gold); $100 (platinum) off for every business or individual sponsor that you recruit! Contact SOAR for details. Reimbursements will be issued once sponsorship is received. September 19th - Lake Murray Dam Run (1-hour delay)
September 26th - Okra Strut - No Games (SOAR will be in the Parade)
October 24th - Last Game Day
October 24th - SOAR Fest
October 31st - Make Up Day U4-U14 (If Needed)
Important Information for Coaches
*The Coaches Clinic will be held on August 8th from 9-10am. (Breakfast will be provided) A list will be signed for refunds at the Clinic. We expect all Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Referees and SOAR Staff to attend.
Practices and Games
Practices are held only one day during the week
(Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday at either 5:30 or 6:30)
Coaches or team chaplains will do 10 min. devotions during practice, devotions will be provided at the coaches clinic.
Games are held every Saturday morning.
Dress Code
All participants will be expected to abide by the dress code that is offered on our website at soarleagues.com

Participant/ Parent Agreement
As parent/guardian of the named player,
I hereby give my permission for his/her participation in SOAR and state that my child is in good health. This application is made with the expressed understanding that SOAR, its employees, volunteers, and sponsors, are not responsible for any sickness, damages, or injury that the player may incur while participating in this program, or during transport to and from the program site. I give permission for photographs and/or video to be taken of my child or family during normal program activities to be used in SOAR promotional materials without thought of remuneration. I further understand that all fees must accompany application, shin guards are required, no insurance is provided by SOAR, and proof of insurability is required.
As a SOAR participant, I agree to abide by SOAR policies and guidelines for good sportsmanship.
Drugs, alcohol and/or any tobacco products, (including vapor cigarettes), pets, also weapons of any sort (e.g., knives, guns) will not be permitted on the Sports Complex. If any person is found in possession or under the influence of any of the above, he/she will be asked to leave or sent home at the expense of the parents -- either by the parent coming to pick up the participant or expenses for any other transportation – and law officers will be notified.
