Please join us for our January Wine Tasting Event! Guests at this event will have the opportunity to learn about and sample different varieties of Spanish wine, while enjoying a four-course pairing menu created by our talented chefs. Opici Wine representative Chris Rizzo will lead the evening's event.

Torres Verdejo; Rueda, Spain, 2013 A fresh, aromatic, white wine. Cold jacket pressed and fermented in stainless steel. Peach and grapefruit notes.
Paired with Pan Seared Scallops Herb Butter Pan Sauce, Sauteed Spinach
Torres Crianza Tempranillo; Rioja, Spain, 2013 The key grape for this region, harvested from dry mountain vineyards where the vines are lightly irrigated. Aged for an extra year, in small barrels. A mellow red with hints of vanilla and cassis.
Paired with Duck Confit Roasted with Red Wine Reduction, Roasted Shallots, Fingerling Potatoes
La Maldita Grenche; Jumilla, Spain, 2013 Rich, full-bodied red harvested from old rootstocks. Vines are trellised low to the ground with pruning and canopy management performed rigorously to achieve a full body with low sugar.
Paired with NY Strip Steak Fig Demi Glaze, Asparagus, Creamy Truffle Risotto
"Oloroso" Barbadillo Sherry; Andalucia, Spain, NV These lightly oxidized grapes have been harvested late and fermented partially to achieve a thick, sweet, dessert-style wine.
Paired with Tiramisu Ladyfingers, Coffee, Fresh Whipped Cream
