This is a basic course that will cover accounting and tax basics by offering explanations and definitions of both disciplines and reviewing real life examples with the participants. This course is meant to be interactive in order to make points and discussions directly relatable to the participants and their real-life business needs. There will be lecture as well as time allotted for Q&A.

Instructor Bio:

Kenya Smith, EA is the owner of AALLC, a tax and accounting firm located in Northern DE. She serves small business entrepreneurs and individuals by bringing over 20 years of accounting and tax experience to each client. Kenya received her Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Saint Joseph’s University. In addition, Kenya is an Enrolled Agent, which is the highest credential bestowed by the IRS. Her enrolled agent status has earned Kenya the privilege of practicing and representing taxpayers before the IRS to resolve taxpayer issues.

Kenya is passionate about educating clients on accounting and tax basics and doing so in a way that makes accounting and taxes understandable. She is excited to have the opportunity to help others succeed in the business endeavors.
