It can be tough to find the right college and even more challenging to figure out which one is the best value. That’s why the U.S. Department of Education recently released the College Scorecard, an interactive website that allows students and their families the ability to search colleges by key indicators like location, size and major while revealing the sticker price of what families actually pay, how much students borrow and what percentage of students actually graduate on time. With all this information available, which colleges in Florida gives you the best bang for your buck?
Join Troy Miller, Florida C.A.N.!’s Senior Researcher & Policy Analyst, on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. EST for an overview of the U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecard, as well as our “remixed” version for Florida colleges and universities. In addition to discussing the College Scorecard and its usefulness in the college decision making process, the webinar will also examine some of the limitations and controversies associated with the tool, as well as our observations related to the Florida college and university data.
