Enjoy a walking tour around the farm as you collect the ingredients needed to create a Farm to Table meal. Return to the cookout area and learn to create a summer salad of Grilled Corn and Arugula and Grilled Flatbread with Cilantro Pesto. This class will be led by Chef Joni Newman, author of ten cookbooks.
Cost is $30 per person (children under 2 are free) and includes a limited edition Sanrio and Friends Tanaka Farms reusable shopping bag, freshly harvested vegetables to take home, cooking class, and lunch at the end of class.
Please note, you will be walking and harvesting vegetables on a real working farm, so dress accordingly. Wear close toed and comfortable walking shoes that you don't mind getting dirty, possibly even muddy. There is no shade in the fields, so sunscreen and hats are recommended.
