Community Action Day in Annapolis 

Please join the Community Development Network of Maryland (CDN) and the Maryland Community Action Partnership (MCAP) for the 2017 Community Development and Community Action Day in Annapolis.

Agenda:

10am - noon Concurrent sessions:

Community Development Showcase: Paying members of CDN and MCAP are able to reserve tables to display your work for legislators and participants. Tables are reserved for CDN and/or MCAP members only. Delegates and Senators are all invited to this portion of the event.

Legislative Visits: Visits to key legislators will be scheduled. Visits enable legislators to hear directly from you about your imporant work, and how more funding can help continue that work. Emphasis during these visits is to promote the Community Development Fund legislation, Maryland Housing Counseling fund legislation and the FY2018 budget priorities.  CDN and MCAP staff will train participants for these meetings.

Noon-1:30pm  Legislative Luncheon 

Program: Join members of the General Assembly for this special luncheon.  Several legislators have been invited to speak, as well as members of the Administration.  We will announce them as they are confirmed. CDN and MCAP will also announce our entire legislative agendas. The entire General Assembly will be invited and do come to this event.
