Earthquakes and Preparing the Modern Television Data Center
With the switch to an IP infrastructure, how will our equipment fare when an earthquake strikes. What can we do as to protect our equipment in case of an seismic event? What real real-world lessions from Christchurch and Sendai can teach us?
Please note the NEW venue! The Castaways raised our dinner costs and we continue to evaluate the Armenian Society's facility in Glendale for the October meeting. We will have a Buffet Style Dinner. There is a parking structure directly behind the building with an alleyway that leads to the rear door. The venue space is on the second floor.
As always, we will start the evening networking and continue over our meal. Don't forget to share any news you might have as the microphone is passed around.
