Although the "core" of the ASME Milwaukee Section is located in and around Milwaukee, our members are from Eastern Wisconsin, Madison, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  We are an active section and have very active student sub-sections at UW-Madison, UW-Milwaukee, Marquette University, Milwaukee School of Engineering and Michigan Tech.  To learn more about us, the programs we have had recently, our sub-sections, our leadership and how you can volunteer or provide input (amongst other things), please check out our website at:

Student Night - Building a Strong Resume"

In an effort to keep our members engaged during this time of quarantining and social distancing, the ASME Milwaukee Section is inviting you to join us for a webinar on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 5:30pm (Waiting room opens at 5:15pm).

There is no cost to attend but we are suggesting a donation to our Student Support Initiative.

TITLE:  ASME Milwaukee Student Night: Tips for Building a Strong Resume, and Securing Internships and Full-time Positions

SUMMARY:  This month, students from the UWM, UW Madison, and MSOE sections will meet with professional members of ASME to discuss best practices for job searching and resume building. The meeting will include introductions to the student sections, resume building discussion (critical content to include), a breakout session to discuss a sample resume, and suggestions from professional members on fields to work in. There will also be announcements of resources available to the student sections this coming academic year.
