NYC Welcome Reception for Adoption Delegation from Shanghai, China

Monday Evening, Sept. 19th, 6-8pm

Gladney Center extends an invitation to all adoptive families in the area with children from Shanghai, China, as well as pre-adoptive families who would like to learn more about Gladney Center's Waiting Child partnership with the Shanghai Children's Home. 

It has been 15 years since a delegation from Shanghai has visited the United States and this reception allows US families the chance to share with Shanghai adoption officials the well-being and successes of their children as they have grown through the years.

Please join us to meet and welcome government officials and Shanghai Children's Home staff:

Mr. Lin Kewu - Deputy Director of Marriage Administration and Adoption Registration Division of Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau

Ms. Jiang Wenquan - Deputy Director of Shanghai Social Welfare Center

Ms. Lu Huiqin - Deputy Director of Shanghai Children's Home

Ms. Chen Ying - Chief in Inter-Country Adoption of Shanghai Marriage and Adoption Registration Center

Ms. Luo Yi - Chief in Adoption Affairs of Shanghai Children's Home

Refreshments will be served.  Cost is $30 per family.
