Know before you go: GSMA events travel rain or shine and follow the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Service policies for weather and road conditions.

 Stay up-to-date with current conditions.

Weather: Bryson City, North Carolina

Health information: GSMA wants you to have the best possible Smoky Mountain experience. Even if your medical conditions are well managed in your home environments, please be aware that our natural environment and activities can have different affects on some medical conditions and could lead to potentially dangerous situations. Keep in mind that many of our course locations are remote—often several hours from advanced medical care or telephone service.

Events travel at a group pace and could end later than the designated time due to multiple factors, including weather, physical ability of the group, and educational opportunities. Participants should be in good physical shape, expect to walk on uneven surfaces for the majority of the trip, and understand the possibilty of being exposed to fluctuations in weather. We ask that you do not reister unless you can handle these conditions.

If you have a desire to deepen your connection with the Smokies, GSMA can help you find the place to suit your needs. Learn more about our Lookout League, national, regional, and local businesses "looking out" for the Smokies.

In an effort to ensure seamless and accurate service, GSMA now requires one guest per registration. Duplicate emails cannot be used. GSMA and its contracted event leaders reserve the right to cancel registration or an individual's event attendance if safety policies are in question.
