Valley Gives Kick-Off Event 

Please join the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts as we kick-off Valley Gives 2017 on May 1 from 12-1:45 p.m. in Stearns Square, in downtown Springfield. The May 1 kickoff event is a time to come together as donors, volunteers, organizations and sponsors to inspire each other and get ready for a full day of activity on Valley Gives Day.

Prizes Available: Valley Gives is pleased to announce two new prizes in recognition of the two founders of Valley Gives. All registered Valley Gives nonprofits who attend will be eligible for one of two new $1,000 Founder's Prizes. Prizes will be drawn at random from those attending the May 1 event.

Local press is invited, so this is a great opportunity to spread the word about your Just Cause.

Free lunch buffet begins at noon, followed by remarks from Katie Allan Zobel, our President and CEO, and others.

Stearns Square is located in the heart of Springfield's newly designated Innovation District, and right across from the Community Foundation's new home at 333 Bridge Street. Some on street parking is available and there are many pay-to-park lots in the area, as well as hourly parking at Tower Square.
