Conrad Teitell is a popular lecturer, practicing lawyer, prolific writer and professor of law. He is known throughout the United States for his ability to translate complicated laws into understandable English. He has lectured nationwide and on PBS television programs on taxes and estate planning. Conrad, along with Warren Buffett, was an invited witness who testified at the U.S. Senate Finance Committee hearing on federal estate tax revision. Listed in "The Best Lawyers in America," Conrad is a principal in the law firm Cummings & Lockwood and is based in the firm's Stamford, Conn., office. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Law and also is a fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Among his many awards, Conrad is the recipient of the American Law Institute/American Bar Association's Harrison Tweed Award for Special Merit in Continuing Legal Education.
