Handmade Tortillas

Locavore Food School offers nutrition and cooking classes taught by volunteers and community members including farmers, local food producers, nutritionists, chefs and alternative health care practitioners.

El Sancho taco shop knows tortillas! You will learn to make your own handmade tortillas and Gordon will cover the proper hydration and mixing of dry masa, shaping, and cooking fresh tortillas.  El Sancho is bringing some of it's signature condiments and fillings for participants to enjoy with their handiwork.  This will be a demo and hands on experience for students.
