Most of us can't give up electricity or cars, but we also can’t continue the status quo. It is contributing to a catastrophic 3 degrees in Global Warming by century end, heavily impacting families and ecosystems from Georgian Bay to the world.

How can we work towards consuming energy with the least amount of harm?

Part 1: GET THE BIG PICTURE ON ONTARIO'S ENERGY GRID BY DAVID SWEETNAM.

For Ontarians - the starting presentation will give you a comprehensive understanding of the renewable sources of your electricity and a glimpse into the future, as Ontario grapples to contribute to the world's need to drastically reduce greenhouse gas emission reductions. Well-known for delivering critical facts in a dynamic and productive way,  you can't miss Georgian Bay Forever's David Sweetnam examining  the current status of renewable energy and futher possibilities in solar, wind, new nuclear, ‘0’ Net Homes and coming technologies that will support their efficiency.

Part 2: TEST DRIVE AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE AND GET ALL YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED BY PLUG 'N DRIVE STAFF.

After hearing about the larger energy choices our society is confronting and advancing, we invite you to consider further of one of your own personal energy consumption choices - the vehicle that you drive.

How? This event is at Plug ‘n Drive's Electric Vehicle Discovery Centre (EVDC) in Toronto. At the event, you will be able to test drive at least one electric vehicle (EV). While you wait, talk to knowledgeable staff to learn how EVs operate, their range, about residential charging stations and the charging infrastructure that exists today. Learn about the many EV models currently available in the Canadian market, and discover what incentives may be applied towards the purchase of a new or used EV. Join us to get the real ins and outs of electric vehicles from experts, and give yourself an opportunity to love to drive them!
