RC Recertification - September 8, 2022

This 1-day Risking Connection (RC) Recertification training is required every 2 years for Risking Connection Associate Trainers to maintain their training credential. Recertification training counts as 1 of your 2 required annual RC Trainer events.

This training offers an intensive learning and practice experience aimed at helping RC Trainers teach the RC Basic Training with fidelity to the model. The training: provides updated information related to teaching RC; reviews critical components of the RC Basic Training; expands and deepens learning about RC concepts; discusses implementation of trauma-informed care; helps trainers reflect on and address their vicarious trauma and that of the staff with whom they work.

Cancellation

We will refund the registration fee minus a $30 processing fee for cancellations up to two weeks prior to the training. No refunds will be made for cancellations inside two weeks.

Presenter

Alesia Starks, LMFT, is a Practitioner Faculty at Fuller Theological Seminary, Faculty Trainer for the Traumatic Stress Institute, and formerly a Clinical trainer and Coordinator at Hillsides in Pasadena, California. Alesia's Clinical training experience also includes field training for a Multidisciplinary Assessment Team, DBT Group Facilitation, and guestlectures at California State University, Los Angeles, School of Psychology. She has designed and taught workshops in such topics as: Domestic Violence, Drug Awareness, Clinical Conceptualization, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, and Mental Health First Aid.

Contintuing Education Credits

Satisfactory Completion
Participants must have paid tuition fee, logged in and out each day, attended the entire webinar, and completed an evaluation to receive a certificate. Failure to log in or out will result in forfeiture of credit for the entire course. No exceptions will be made. Partial credit is not available. Certificates will be available following course completion at www.ceuregistration.com.
