Mentally Tougher for Healthcare Workers-Wednesday, June 28
Working in healthcare can wear you down mentally, but you can boost your brain's endurance. Mental toughness is not a singular trait. It is a collection of perfomance and resilence skills that help you reach and maintain optimal performance, face and cope with adversity, adapt to change, recover and learn from a setback, and grow from the experience. Just like phsical toughness is the result of proper training, mental toughness is the result of intentionally training the brain.
