Who should attend?

Any parent and family member, educator, lawyer or person interested in gaining knowledge about legal implications for students receiving or in need of receiving special education services. This is a hands-on, in-depth workshop designed to remove confusion, provide understanding and support participants in understanding how special education law is designed to support students, what is required of schools and districts and how families can advocate for their students.

The profits from this event provide scholarships for students attending the Every Child Reading - Super Star Summer camp program.

Certificates of attendance will be provided.

CLE 7.0 credits are available through the State of Colorado Supreme Court Office of CLE.

CEU 0.6 units are pending through Delta State University and provide credit for a variety of professionals. If you have questions about acceptable CEUs in your state or profession, check with your professional certification body.
