COVID-19 Prevention and Preparedness in LTC Webinar 

Feeling confused and overloaded with information about COVID-19? Telligen, the QIN-QIO for Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, and Oklahoma is hosting a Webinar and question and answer session for nursing home providers with guest speaker Dr. Gregory Gahm, MD. Practical information will be shared about COVID-19 that can be helpful to you and your staff.

This Webinar will be interactive and will provide nursing home personnel and infection preventionists the opportunity to share challenges and ask questions in regards to implementing current guidance. In addition, there will be an opportunity for participants to share their approaches and current state of preparedness. 

Guest Speaker:

Dr. Gregory Gahm, Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine, Department of Geriatric Medicine, University of Colorado Medical Center, is a geriatrician serving as Chief Medical Officer for Vivage Senior Living and Medical Director for a number of Denver area nursing homes. He served as President of the Colorado Medical Directors Association (CMDA) for a number of years and works with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) on a variety of task forces, the most recent of which is the CDPHE Covid-19 Task Force for Nursing Homes. 

Dr. Christine LaRocca is a fellowship-trained, board-certified geriatrician, and serves as Medical Director for Telligen. Dr. LaRocca will serve as the facilitator for this Webinar.
