4:00 p.m.            Welcome and Today’s Goals and Objectives

4:30 p.m.            The Science of Energy

Learn more about the forms of energy and energy transformations while exploring the stations of the Science of Energy kit. Shell’s sponsorship provides teachers a choice of a Science of Energy Kit or an Oil and Gas Kit.

5:15 p.m.            Electric Connections and Candy Collector

After learning about the Science of Energy, participants begin studying the sources of energy. These quick lessons allow participants to understand renewable and nonrenewable energy sources.

6:00 p.m.            Exploring NEED Website and Distance Learning Tips

6:30 p.m.            Adjourn

4:00 p.m.            Exploring Oil & Natural Gas
