An ODOT business training program for contractors in an online format throughout Oregon: something works into your schedule and doesn’t involve travel. We would like you to participate! This is your chance!

This program is about running a stronger and more profitable business, while learning more about opportunities for contracting with ODOT.
It combines online class sessions with individual business advising. Each 3-hour class will be devoted to small business management topics (market research, financials, strategic planning and more), and understanding ODOT-specific issues (bidding, estimating, certified payrolls, bonding, etc.). You will take these classes from the convenience of your own computer. Classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. There are 9 class sessions, Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting March 25th and running through April 22nd . All you need is a computer with high-speed internet access and a phone. (Need continuing education for your CCB license? This counts!)
In addition, businesses receive up to 18 hours of one-on-one confidential business advising (at no cost) from an experienced advisor at your closest Small Business Development Center (advising can happen over the phone if that’s more convenient for you).
Eligibility:
Your company must be:
- certified Emerging Small Business (ESB) or Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) or Women Business Enterprise (WBE) or Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)
- capable of performing an ODOT contract (construction or support services that may be associated with transportation or its related services or facilities)
The reduced registration fee is only $200! A second person from your business can attend for only $150. This program is too good to miss! Similar programs cost $1700 or more!
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to the first 30 eligible firms who meet the criteria and send in an application and their registration fees.
