Meet Lauren Fernandez! She is the Co-Founder, President, and an Operating Partner of Origin Development Group who oversees all daily operations; including Business Development. The Origin Development Group, is the largest Multi-Unit Operator of Chicken Salad Chick.Lauren has worked in over 140 countries establishing Franchise Partnerships, Licensing, Distribution and Supply Chain for both Food and Drug Companies. Before forming The Fernandez Company, Lauren served as the General Counsel for FOCUS Brands, where she was the head of both the Legal and Franchise Administration Departments.

 


Visit with Cordell Riley! He is a Partner and the President of Tortal Training, a leading Training Development Company based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. He founded Tortal Training in 2000 and has spent more than 20 years helping thousands of companies achieve outstanding success through training.

After his time in college and the military, Cordell launched his career at Driven Brands, which are the owners of Meineke and Maaco. During his 20 years there, he rose through the ranks with increasing levels of responsibility for Operations and Training.

 

 

Sit-in with Talia McDougal! She is the Director of Training and Implementation with Any Lab Test Now where she leads all things training related, organizes Franchise conferences, and on-boards new Franchisees from kickoff to soft opening.

With over 11 years of experience in the public, private and international classroom teaching Spanish and ESOL, she transitioned to the corporate world and earned her MBA with a Certificate in Strategic Marketing. She also maintains her consulting business with a focus on training and organizational strategies, Spanish translation and tutoring, and event planning.
