Learn how to draw cartoons! Students will translate observational drawing skills into cartoon character design, using just simple shapes. Understanding the “action line” will allow students to give LIFE to their cartoons, with an array of exciting poses. Exercise your imagination as you create a universe of your very own cartoons!

Larry Reid is a certified art teacher specializing in drawing, painting and sculpture. He obtained his BA in fine Arts & Animation from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. He has taught art in the school system in Miami and for the Philadelphia Arts in Education Partnership in Philadelphia, PA. Larry enjoys building confidence in students to help them realize more fully their creative and technical proficiency.
