Jamaica Institute of Financial ServicesApplicants will be refunded 50% of total fee paid, iftheir notice of cancellation is received at least 7
working days prior to the date of the programme.
There will be no refund for cancellation made after,
Monday, November 25, 2020.
Substitutions may be made at any time.
JIFS reserve the right to cancel the programme at
any time, if there is insufficient enrolment. In that
event, full course fee paid will be refunded.
Authenticating Documents in a Digital Age
Get the skill! Knowing how to authenticate digital documents must be a priority for anyone responsible for examining documents. Attend the seminar to learn more from forensic digital imaging expert David Witzke.
With the move to storing critical documents using digital document management solutions it is more important than ever to know exactly what to look for when authenticating documents. Participants can expect to be exposed to the rudiments of when, why and how an on-screen comparison instead of evaluating printed documents is necessary. Identifying JPG and PDF Compression algorithms, and other artifacts that provide a challenge to identifying characteristics such as speed, letter formation, connecting strokes, initiating and terminating strokes, pen pressure, size, line quality and other attributes of document analysis will also be expertly shared.
