About Me
Nancy Adair's journey in the field of dentistry/dental hygiene has enabled her to be a valuable resource on the evolution of dentistry/dental hygiene. Nancy has become a dynamic motivational international speaker, a dental educator, a past CE chairperson, a 'Transition Leader', a clinical supervisor, a reserach team member on implants, a periodontal hygienist and founder/owner of the CE company Hygiene Excellence Inc.
The CE company has become well known for SUSTAINABLE science-based practice builders!

Nancy graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor of Arts. Hygiene Excellence Inc has been recognized by the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) for PACE approval in Alberta. FINE TUNE your hand instrumentation! Dental appointments are getting more compressed for time with increased stress. How do clinicians manage appointments and get the necessities completed in a timely fashion? Adopt a structured 12-step process for a hygiene appointment while striving for excellence!
Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
- Select effective hand instruments for maintenance and active therapy kits.
- Adapt instruments from three main categories.
- ACTIVELY sharpen instruments effectively and efficiently.
- Appreciate the benefits and techniques of four different probes.
- Realize the importance of minimal aerosols in utilization of ultrasonic units.
- Apply inserts based on design, effectiveness per case selection.
COST: $149 per RDH or RDA with scaling module $199 per DDS No GST
ALL equipment included, EXCEPT each particpant to bring THREE of EACH of the following: sickle scalers (anterior and/or posterior) universal curettes gracey curettes (combination of anterior, buccal/lingual, mesial and/or distal) * a combination of sharpened and new blades is advantageous.

Approved PACE Program ProviderFAGD/MAGD Credit Approval does not imply accepted by a state or provincial board of dentistry AGD endorsement. (10/1/2019) to (9/30/2022) Alberta. REFUND policy - if three weeks or more notice is provided to Hygiene Excellence Inc. a 50% refund will be given; if less than three weeks is given, no refund is provided.
