Every November, the Presbytery offers a day of equipping for ministry leaders. At the front of the day is worship and a very brief budget approval meeting. Those who register as Commissioners will be the only attendees who are eligible to participate in the budget approval process. Those who register as a Visitor will participate in worship, observe how Presbytery approves the budget, and be the beneficiaries of equipping. This annual meeting is unique. It unifies us in common love and service in the name of Jesus.

This year, the day will be devoted to evangelism training. The presenters are Pastor Todd Thomas and Pastor Derek Simpson from Family Church in Sherbrooke, FL. In the morning, they will offer a tool to share the gospel. In the afternoon, they will share how you can use this tool to develop an evangelism culture in your church. All of this is captured in the book Turning Everyday Conversations into Gospel Conversations. One hundred copies of this book are available for individual purchase for $5. Books can be purchased or reserved through the registration process for this meeting.

Entire Sessions are requested to attend as well as anyone in your church who has a passion for evangelism and wants to be a team player in developing an evangelism culture at your church

Meeting and Registration Details

The meeting is Saturday, November 13, 2021 at North Park EPC, Wexford, PA. There will not be an online option to attend.

Registration opens at 7:45 AM.
Worship begins at 8:30 AM.
The day ends at 3 PM.
Lunch will be offered on site.

Pastors and Clerks, please forward this invitation to your Session and others to invite them to participate in the life of the Presbytery.

Though the deadline to register is Tuesday, November 9th, early registration is a courtesy to the host church. As a reminder, churches may send 2 Ruling Elder Commissioners for each Teaching Elder on staff. This is relevant to the budget portion of the morning.
