Green Pharmacy Class Series

Come Play in the Garden with me! Join me for an Extended Learning opportunity for the beginner and herb enthusiasts alike. This 4-part class is a wonderful way to experience herbs, by learning how to prepare and use quality herbal medicines. Why not turn many of our local plants into a bountiful herbal pharmacy; we’ll learn to prepare and use: teas, oils and salves, liniments, vinegars, syrups and tinctures.

At the end of the 4^th session you will have the beginnings of your very own Green Pharmacy. This class is a great jumping off place for continued Herbal learning.

Classes will be held Saturday mornings from 9 to noonish but we may be finished earlier some days.The dates and topics covered for this class series are as follows:

Vinegars and Elixirs- June 6th
Oils and Salves -June 13th
Tinctures and Liniments-June 27th
Medicinal Teas and Syrups-July 11th

Cost: $160

Your class registration includes all of the herbs we will be working with, MOST class supplies and creative materials except: glass containers, honey, oils, and vinegars for Herb Products made in Class.

A full List of size and number of glass containers and other supplies you will need to bring will be sent within a week of registration.

Because of Covid 19-Class size is limited and minimum number of students need to be registered to hold class.

(an Optional 5^th Field Day/Prairie Walk and Medicine Sharing Class will be offered in July to participants at the cost of $20 that we can discuss and plan as a group if there is interest)

Because of the amount of supplies that need to be purchased for these classes, please note my class cancellation policy: No cash refunds. A 50% Class credit will be given for single day class if cancelled within 48 hours, and for the class series if cancelled 7 days prior to start date.
