Take A Seat

The International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) is proud to sponsor our second annual design exhibition, featured in six of our Chapters across the country, including Palm Beach, Philadelphia, San Francisco, New York, Washington D.C. and Scottsdale.  

You are invited to join us for this unique Design Exhibit and Charity Auction event, IFDA Take A Seat. The event will feature up-cycled chairs, creatively redesigned by talented designers and artisans which will be on display, for public viewing, in various art galleries in the Scottsdale Art District. Visit any of the participating galleries on Thursday Art Walks and participate in a scavenger hunt and other festivities. One-of-a-kind chairs will be displayed at:  Calvin Charles, On The Edge Gallery, Carstens Fine Art Studio and Gallery, Legacy Gallery, Scottsdale Fine Art and Touchstone Gallery to name a few.

The majority of the event's proceeds will benefit our local heroes at Military Assistance Mission (M.A.M.) whose mission is to provide financial and morale aid to our current Arizona active duty military, their families, and wounded warriors regardless of overseas deployment status. The biggest reason we chose M.A.M. is because over 88% of all funds go to the ones in need, so we can make a huge difference to those in need. Our Emcee for the evening is KPHO CBS5's Nicole Crites, who is an Emmy winning reporter as well as an advocate for our local charity as she sits on its board. Working with Nicole and presiding over the live auction is Josh Levine of J. Levine Auction and Appraisal. We are deeply grateful to their generous donation to helping IFDA raise money for M.A.M.

Ticket sales are open to the public and are $35 until October 8th
