How to Succeed in Heart Failure Diagnosis and Management
 
This webinar focuses on congestive heart failure in dogs and cats. We will discuss how to identify congestive heart failure based on history, physical 
exam findings, and thoracic radiographs. We will
review medical management and monitoring of acute and chronic congestive heart failure in canine and
feline patients.

 
Alexandra Crooks
VMD, DACVIM
(CARDIOLOGY)

Dr. Crooks was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania in 2012. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She stayed at the Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for a 1-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery and a
3-year residency in cardiology. Although she enjoys all aspects of veterinary cardiology, Dr. Crooks has a special interest in cardiovascular imaging and pathology, management of heart failure, and diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias.
