This is an online event.Tech Lecture: Basic Understanding of the Respiratory System
Respiratory diseases can range from the simplest sneeze to emergent distress requiring immediate attention. It’s important to know the basic understanding of the respiratory system to appropriately evaluate and treat patients with breathing changes. Common upper and lower respiratory problems will be discussed along with proper diagnostics.

Ania has been a Veterinary Technician on the Internal Medicine service at NorthStar VETS for more than five years. A graduate of Manor College, she has grown her skill level to include expertise in advanced nursing care, various procedures including endoscopy, arthrocentesis, bone marrow aspirates, and advanced imaging such as CT scan and fluoroscopy. She is currently working toward her VTS in Internal Medicine.
