Conference Vision 

The vision of this conference includes knowledge-sharing, networking and promoting best and/ or innovative practice in the field of harm reduction within the local context.

 Conference Objectives

- Challenge myths, stereotypes and stigma

- Provide a forum for networking; locally and regionally

- Provide a forum for the safe and open exchange of ideas

- Share strategies and technical information that is evidence-informed

- Encourage use of innovations locally for program development and implementation

Who Should Attend?

This conference is intended for front line workers including educators, health care workers, enforcement/justice workers and social service providers as well as those working in primary care and those in management positions.

 

Hotel Rooms

There is a block of hotel rooms on hold at the Victoria Inn at a rate of  $135 + HST/ Night.

Individuals making their own reservations should contact the Hotel at 1-800-387-3331 and quote room block 139069 to access the conference rate.  Room block will be released after October 7, 2019

The Hotel will honor reservations received by the above date. Reservations received after this date are subject to space availability and rate availability. Please quote booking number 139069 when making your reservation.
