In February DESCA brought in Steven Bowman -  “the Pitch Doctor” - to hold a How to Talk to Money workshop. This was structured around “The Five Fails of Investor Presentations to Avoid”.  Attendees learned  what investors look for in a pitch as well as principles and techniques for making a winning investor presentation.

This month, we are hosting an Open Coaching session where 3 pre-selected companies will make their pitch and each will be critiqued and coached in a group setting.

Each group will have the opportunity to observe, learn, ask questions, find out what to include and what to leave out, and how to use slides that help, not hurt.

Steve Bowman is President of BizClarity. He formed his business years ago to write executive summaries and business plans, but then began specializing exclusively in just coaching and teaching investor presentations. He’s given workshops and coached clients on both American coasts and in Europe.  Steve works on both sides of the entrepreneurial world working with investors and vetting firms as well as preparing and educating start-ups and entrepreneurs.
