Choice of Business Entity for Startups is brought to you by the Delaware Sustainable Chemistry Alliance (DESCA) and Widener University Delaware Law School.

This session will explore the variety of business organizations available from which to choose when forming a new business entity, including an LLC and a corporation. Formation of a business entity is done under state law and Delaware business entity law will be discussed. Formal formation requirements will be explored along with some basic practical federal income tax consequences that result from choices made when forming a new business organization.
