First Church Boston Professional Coach Training
This 30 hour International Coach Federation ACSTH approved coach training program, taught by the author of Values-based Coaching, will provide an overview of basic coaching, an understanding of why and how coaching works, discuss various approaches, and help you look at exciting opportunities for positive change-- for yourself and in your work-- through coaching.
You will have the opportunity to practice coaching and to be coached in a supportive environment so you emerging with an experientially-based understanding of coaching that you can use in existing work or to take a new professional direction.
In this highly interactive, skills-based workshop you will be taught how to find clients to coach between sessions, work with peer coaching partners on homework designed to enhance your skills, and be able to discuss your real-time learning.
During the four full days you will:
- Learn basic coaching skills
- Have the opportunity to coach and be coached
- Focus on how to market and grow a coaching practice or integrate coaching in your existing work.
On the calls between the two-day sessions, you will:
- Discuss progress working with practice clients
- Discuss questions and issues that arise working on your own
- Have the opportunity to reflect on your personal goals for integrating coaching into your professional life.
