Presenter:  Kelly Hoey

Kelly Hoey is the author of Build Your Dream Network. She has been lauded in Forbes (“1 of 5 Women Changing the World of VC/Entrepreneurship”), in Inc. (“1 of the 10 Most Well-Connected People in New York City's Startup Scene”), and others.  

She started in corporate law. A chance opportunity in 2009 sparked her transition from earning a paycheck to seeking equity. Co-founding a startup accelerator and then an interim CMO role are part of her reinvention as an author, influencer and investor.

Presenter:  Varelie Croes

Varelie Croes is a master networker. She is featured in the book, Build Your Dream Network, in a case study on her “networked career” in finance and how she networked her way to the TEDx stage, twice in one year.  

Val is a strategist and founder of The Liv Group, a New York venture studio. She co-founded ATECH (top 15 innovation events in the world ~ Forbes) and an incubator program.  

She had a distinguished career as Director of International Tax Financial Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
