RMIIA Associate Members are offering CE courses that allow you to pick auto or homeowners classes (two - 2 hour tracks)
In addition - RMIIA Executive Director Carole Walker will provide a Colorado insurance industry issues update that includes key hot topics and social media/online tools that help add value to your current job or agency.
CE CLASSES WILL BE AVAILABLE AS FOLLOWS:
1-Hour Options (2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - including breaks)
- "How to Analyze & Photograph a Vehicle Accident" - 1-Hour Adjuster CO, WY, OK, FL, TX and CA Auto CE. Presented by Rimkus Consulting Group. The course is designed to assist adjusters in examining and photographing vehicles that have been involved in accidents in order to obtain and preserve the evidence for an accident reconstruction. In addition to the vehicles, the course discusses information that should be gathered and recorded at the accident site. With this information, a proper investigation will provide the information needed to resolve conflicting claims and explain why the accident occurred.
- "Understanding the Traps in the Business Auto Policy Liability Symbols" - 1-Hour Agent CO Auto CE. Presented by Trusted Choice Colorado CEO, Bryan Bernier. Knowing the potential pitfalls and issues surrounding BA Liability Symbols could save you and your client a world of heartache. This class will help you identify common misconceptions and pitfalls associated with these symbols.
- "Introduction to Water Mitigation" - 1-Hour Adjuster CO, WY, OK, FL, TX, and CA Homeowner CE and 1-Hour Agent CO Homeowner CE (Pending) - Presented by American Technologies, Inc.: This course will assist adjusters, agents and property owners in identifying the primary sources of water damage to property. It aids in determining which recomended mitigation should be used based upon the class and category of the water damage. The course reviews the equipment needed to dry out a structure and how mold develops. Attendees will learn how to establish action plans to resolve covered weather losses quickly and how to partner more effectively with restoration vendors.
2-Hour Option (2:30 p.m. - 4:30)
- "Understanding Estimating Platform Valuations and Pricing Methodology" - 2-Hour Adjuster WY & TX Homeowner CE and 2-Hour Agent CO Homeowner CE. Presented by Eberl Claims Services - In this class, the instructor will take attendees through understanding the "why" behind calculations of both valuations and estimates when using Xactimate. Class includes how to deal with disputes, basis of unit cost pricing and General Contracting overhead and profit.
