IBA2021 Navigating Next 

Given the all clear to gather in person, IBA's annual conference "Navigating Next" points to where businesses will be focusing to regain their sales and guides the sellers, managers and owners on how to personally take the successful steps towards NEXT. A News Track and Promotions sessions will focus on those departments for success.

October 25th-                                                                 President's Reception and Chairman's Dinner 

Plan to arrive early for this special evening dedicated to honoring these Illinois broadcasters who are being recognized for dedicating their careers to their local markets and to the industry.  Tickets for this event can be purchased individually or added to any other registration for $60.

It doesn't matter what you do, wehre you live, or how much money you make.  We all suffer ups and downs in our motivational levels.  How to get and stay motivated is the questions to everyone's answer.  Nothing is as crucial to success to the ability to stay positive and focused on your goal.  It has been said that some people stay motivated for 30 minutes, others 30 days, but it is the person that can stay motivated for 30 years that achieves great things!

Sales is becoming increasingly competitive and comples. Things are ever changing and you must change with them in order to thrive.  This session will help while we use Borrell's Benchmarking Report for the RAB to provide sellers a way to defy the gravity of 2020 and 2021.

Business owners wake up every morning with problems.  Real problems!  How do they keep their doors open? Can they continue to employ their staff? If you want a business partner for life, build a relatioship with your client and offer solutions not ads.  It has been said that you should not ask for your client's business unless you have a plan for improving it. In this session we discuss ways to become the sustaining resource for your client that focuses on client results and have nothing to do with station ratings or price.
