Food for Thought - A Mindfulness and Meditative Experiential

As we begin to incorporate our regular activities into our routines, we will need time to adjust to this “new normal”. This may bring on new or old stressors in our lives.

Learn how mindfulness promotes wellness and relieves stress (physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually) in our virtual and interactive workshop. Marsha will discuss mindfulness activities one can do on one’s own:  6 Breaths, Breathing - sighing, Eating/Drinking, Engaging the Senses, Sitting and Walking.

The Metta Sutta - many Buddhists in the West learn the Metta Sutta within their first dhamma talks. It is commonly recited prior to a sangha's meditation session as a thought for contemplation during the practice.* Join us in this meditative experiential as we practice Metta Sutta, to cultivate compassion, build focus or attention and forgiveness.
