Asbestos Awareness Training

This session will provide attendees with an understanding of what asbestos is, how it is used in building materials, health effects of exposure with an overview of regulatory requirements.  This information will be presented from the perspective of concerned individuals, workers who work near asbestos, and trades who are working in buildings that have asbestos building materials.

Jeff Lainsbury has worked in the Hazardous Materials Consulting industry for more than 25 years.  During that time,  he has provided asbestos awareness training for thousands of clients, contractors, maintenance workers, unions, and concerned individuals.  Mr. Lainsbury has completed many pre-construction/renovation/demolition Designated Substance surveys and overseen the completion of these projects for hundreds of properties.  He is known for his expertise and detailed knowledge of hazardous materials, as well as his problem-solving abilities and enthusiasm for working with all stakeholders in every project.
