Maintaining high levels of team engagement can be difficult for any organization and in the area of marketing, where occasionally people feel they’re not a part of a clients “core mission”, it can be even more difficult. Keeping team members focused on the importance of their contribution to client goals can be a daunting leadership challenge.
Not addressing this challenge can lead to subpar performance including: people feeling undervalued, turnover and worse case – people who “quit and stay” i.e. continue to show up to work to get paid with little commitment to their role or team.
This interactive presentation will provide you with practical tools and techniques to support you and your team members in reinvigorating individual and team performance.
Mark Bosworth, a principal with KESA, an Alberta based organizational development firm will share his experience on re-energizing teams and organizations through clarity of purpose, priorities and approach. Mark has worked across Canada and internationally with a wide variety of organizations in the public and private sectors. For the past two years, he has supported Alberta Pork’s strategy development and organizational structure.
He hopes the tools and techniques he will be sharing with you will be something you can add to your own leadership tool kit and that you’ll find the same value in using these tools and techniques as he has.

Mark Bosworth is a principal with KESA; an Alberta based organizational development company. Mark, through his work with KESA, has built a successful practice that focuses on assisting organizations in understanding and shaping change in four key areas; Strategy development and organizational design, Leadership effectiveness, Managing organizational change and transition, and Collaborative culture.
Since 1998, Mark has served a diverse range of clients both locally and internationally in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Mark has also worked with numerous NHL hockey teams and the NHL officials. In all cases, Mark and KESA are guided by the fundamental belief in the potential of people to address challenges and opportunities. KESA helps organizations tap into this potential and accelerate their performance.
Mark holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University, a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Alberta, and a post-graduate certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University as well as numerous certificates.
