We live at a time when everything is accelerating (from transfer speed, to computing power and storage capacity), when everything is connected and interconnected (including objects). Our working and living environments are increasingly mobile and intelligent, always processing, communicating, and storing more and more data about us, humans.

“Smart Regions” have supplanted “Smart Cities.” Connected objects have taken over on smartphones and Big Data analytics on databases, etc. These are all new playgrounds for hackers. Consequently, these new solutions, whether intelligent, mobile, or cloud-based, all have the same challenges: that of information security and the protection of privacy while managing risks. Both have become essential and inseparable components of the concept of digital trust that we seek to offer, protect, guarantee, or promulgate to organizations and ultimately customers.
