DESIGN MEETING is an annual event which recognizes the work and achievement of students graduating from the theatrical design programs at CALARTS, NYU/TISCH and YALE SCHOOL OF DRAMA.  

Affirming that design for the theater exists as part of an historical continuum - both defined by and continually revitalized through the essential collaborations between directors and designers - DESIGN MEETING is an introduction of a new generation of designers to the professional theater community, an opportunity to forge new creative partnerships, and a strengthening of the foundational bonds upon which our art and art-form are built.
