Connecting Our Future is a collaborative process to create a regional vision and actionable strategies for improving mobility and connectivity in the 10-county Upstate of South Carolina. Connecting Our Future is being led by a coalition of Upstate stakeholders representing private industry, planning practitioners, elected officials, and non-profit organizations and institutions. The process will yield a coordinated strategy that aligns the region’s urgent mobility needs with broader long-term regional initiatives such as economic vitality, social equity, health and safety, and quality of life.
The Connecting Our Future Advisory Team is hosting an idea exchange on March 19th from 1:30-4:30 pm at the Michelin Conference Center. This informative and highly interactive workshop will feature a series of small group conversations organized around timely topics. Participants will learn more about the current state of the region, hear a variety of perspectives on mobility in the Upstate, and join dynamic discussions to share ideas and collaborate on solutions.
