Upstate Education Spectrum Fall Forum
Meeting of Upstate Public School, College/University, Business, and Community Leaders
Monday, November 4th, 2019
2:00 - 4:30 p.m.
During the Education Spectrum Fall Forum in 2018, several committees were formed to evaluate facets of the region's teacher shortage. These committees were able to present recommendations and gather feedback at the Education Spectrum Spring Forum in 2019, and have been working since to create actionable strategies to impact this issue. Please join us on November 4th as we hear an update on their progress.
Committees Include:
• Professional Educator Elevation and Recruitment
• Understanding the Challenges
This is a unique opportunity for leaders from all school districts, technical colleges, two and four year colleges and universities, as well as business and industry in the region to come together to discuss and work on a key issue impacting the Upstate.
We hope you share our excitement for the positive possibilities this collaborative effort across the education and business spectrum can have for enhancing opportunities for our students and community.
