As an organization and individuals we care for everyone’s safety. While we wrestle with a set of multifaceted conditions that may influence our annual meeting traditions we are monitoring and considering what prudent actions we can take to encourage participation and trusting you as an individual to make the decision you feel is best.   • Vaccinations are your choice and, unless it is required, we will not be asking about vaccinations.
  • Face-coverings will be required as per Buncombe County.  A mask will be provided to each individual at registration and masks will be available throughout the conference. Please also bring your own.
  • The hotel has hand sanitation stations and follows safety practices according industry standards.

Volunteer!

Workshops and Tours

  1. Herbicides Regulations, Invasive Species and Applications: $70 includes 3 hours Cat. 1 CFE credits and Pesticide credits from VA (3), SC(3) and NC (2.5). 
  2. Biltmore All-Day Technical Tour: $144. 2.5 Cat. 1 CFE. 
  3. Biltmore House Self-Guided Leisure Tour: (This is not a CFE event.) Use the special Promo Code "apsaf2022" at this link to purchase tickets at the special APSAF rate. Tickets are only good for January 24 - January 31, 2022.
  4. Student Tour at Haywood Community College. Includes tour of the arboretum, Drones in Forestry demo, and oak regeneration studies. To attend, contact AJStorm@haywood.edu.

Online Registration for the Centennial Meeting is Closed
Late fees start December 25, 2021! The last day for online registration is January 21, 2022. Register at the door for these fees:

  • Members - $275
  • Non-Member - $325
  • Students -  $125 
  • Golden Members attend at No Charge
  • Spouses and Family run from $75 to $275 when added onto a member or non-member registration.

Meeting Cancellation and Refund Policy
Notice of cancellation and refund requests may result in a full or partial refund as described below. Send an email to Pat Straka, Planning Committee Chair, pastraka@att.net to request a cancellation or substitute participant.

  • 100% Refund is available: On or before December 25, 2021
  • 80% Refund Available: On or before January 20, 2022
  • No Refund is Available: Starting January 21, 2022, meeting and workshop registrants may notify Pat Straka (pastraka@att.net) of the need to cancel. Please consider sending a substitute. Refunds only for extenuating circumstances, handled on a case by case basis. Refund checks are mailed after the meeting.

Meeting Silent Auction and Daily Raffles

Bidding on the silent auction treasures and buying raffle tickets (online in advance and during the meeting) will infuse funds into The Kenney P. Funderburke Fund and Foresters Fund, both important APSAF educational initatives.
